What is a T1 Line?Written by: Brad Dudley - Jul 6, 2008
A T1 Line is a dedicated connection from your phone company's central office to your home or place of business. It is made up of 24 digital channels. You can have either a voice t1 line, a data (internet) t1 line, or an integrated t1 line (a combination of the two). A t1 that does not use all of the 24 channels is called a fractional t1. Check for T1 Availability.
