What is a T1 Connection?

A T1 Connection is a dedicated service. This means it is a direct connection between your home or business location and the phone company's local office location. It has 24 digital channels. It can be used to carry voice, data (internet), or both (integrated). If you have a t1 connection with less than 24 digital channels active it is called a fractional t1 connection.
